Superdraw wins sweep Australia

The six division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto’s Superdraw landed across the mainland with two each in Victoria and South Australia, and one each in Queensland and New South Wales.  

A Yorketown dad confessed he only picked up his $3.3 million winning entry when he was struck by a feeling of good fortune.  

“I was feeling lucky on Saturday, and I saw the newsagency across the road, so I thought I’d grab a ticket,” he said. 

“I always check the numbers on a Saturday night after the draw. I was looking down the ticket and thought, ‘I haven’t got anything there’, but then I saw the game with all the numbers and thought, ‘Oh no! I’ve got it!”.

Meanwhile, a Bundaberg man experienced a sense of déjà vu after landing his second major lottery prize in less than a decade.  

“I’ve won division one before, but it was shared with other people in a syndicate. We won $40,000 each, but $3.3 million is next level,” he said.

“I haven’t told anyone about this win. I plan on keeping it on the downlow. 

“It’s very exciting. I don’t own a house, but now I’ll be able to buy one!”

Weekday Windfall’s Valentine’s Day surprise 

Roses are red, violets are blue, and Weekday Windfall made dreams come true for a Cranbourne woman. Her heart skipped a beat when she became a millionaire on Valentine’s Day.  

The devoted Victorian had been loyal to her cherished set of numbers for over two decades and couldn’t believe they’d finally come up in the Friday draw.

“What a great Valentine’s Day present! I’ve never had one before,” she said.  

“Oh my god. This is just surreal. This gives me so much more freedom.

“My passions are travel and photography, which can both be expensive hobbies, but now I’ll be able to take some time off and pursue them.” 

Workday whirlwind! Newcastle workmates celebrate win

Lucky Lotteries was also sharing the love, with a group of eight Newcastle workmates discovering they’d won a thrilling $100,000 prize. 

“I’m shouting to my co-workers that we’ve won $100,000. Everyone’s jumping up and down at their desks,” the syndicate leader said. 

“We like to try all the games, but recently we’ve been trying Lucky Lotteries. 

“It seems like we should’ve been giving it a crack a while ago.

“Oh wow! The office has completely exploded with excitement - everyone’s over the moon!”
