In case you missed it: Oz Lotto and Saturday lotto games deliver division one delight

Catch up on all the winning action from the week.
The great outback adventure
A Horsham man is preparing to embark on an epic road trip around Australia after he took home $15 million in the Oz Lotto game. In addition to his travel plans, he also intends to support his family financially.
“Honestly, I always thought I was going to win. Ever since I was in my 20s, I’ve thought, ‘one day I’m going to win’. It’s just taken a while!” he cheered.
“I'd better go tell my wife. I don’t think she’ll believe me. I don’t think we’ll sleep tonight.
“I’ll help the kids and grandkids - help them to pay off their homes.
“A new car and caravan are what I want so we can do a few trips, maybe eventually do a lap around Australia.”
A hard sell
Meanwhile, it took more than just our phone calls to convince a Broadbeach man that he won the Oz Lotto division one prize.
"I was a bit sceptical when you first called, I wasn't too convinced. But then I checked my ticket,” he explained.
"I've been playing a long time but never thought it would happen to me. I'm glad I persisted."
With $15 million set to skyrocket his account soon, he plans to spoil his loved ones.
“I’ll take some time to think about it, but we'll definitely do something for the kids and grandkids."
Scrolling to a win
Following the Saturday Lotto draw on the weekend, a Queanbeyan man quickly discovered from a social media post that he held a division one winning entry.
“I was scrolling through Facebook when I saw a post about a mystery Saturday Lotto winner in the area,” he shared.
“I had a check of the winning numbers, and they all seemed to match my ticket.
“There’s too many different things I could do. I’ll let the dust settle for now.”
Add a few extra zeros
And finally, it was a surreal moment for a Bundoora mum who was one of the seven division one winning entries from the TattsLotto draw on the weekend. The Victorian woman shared she’s a regular player and has used the same numbers for years.
“This ticket is a ticket I’ve had since TattsLotto started. I’ve been playing those numbers for so long that I don’t even remember why I picked them in the first place,” she said.
“I didn’t get around to checking my ticket until this morning. I had two tickets and I scanned one and saw I’d won $10.20. I was excited about that.
“Then I got to the other one and I thought, ‘Oh my god, I’m not reading this right’.
“I even woke my daughter up and said, ‘I need you to look at something’. She asked, ‘Why are you crying? You’ve won $1,000’. Then I said, ‘No, I haven’t!’. Then she said, ‘Oh my god, is that a million dollars?’.”
Holding a ticket that’s worth millions is a dream come true - one we would love to fulfil for our mystery $100 million Powerball jackpot winner (yes, we’re still on the hunt!). Be sure to register your entries with The Lott Members Club and stay in the loop with all our upcoming games.
