Did you know our winning calls come from a Queensland area code (07)? Well, an Eastwood woman certainly didn’t, after she mistakenly blocked our phone number when she didn’t recognise the area code. Once we finally got in touch, we were able to reveal she'd won $15 million in the Oz Lotto draw!

“I don’t even know how to put into words how I feel. I’m shocked,” she said shakily.

“I actually blocked your number this morning because I thought it was fake.

“I’ve been playing my whole life!

“Now I can buy a house. It’s amazing.” 

The right choice: West Sydney couple scratch $100K win

A Lilyfield couple have scratched a game panel revealing a $100,000 win, thanks to a suggestion from their local store clerk to purchase a $5 Instant Scratch-Its ticket.

“We got these Instant Scratch-Its tickets after we won a small prize. It was $20, so I went back to the store and got two more tickets,” the winning woman explained.

“It’s funny because I couldn’t decide which tickets to get, so the shop manager actually picked them for me. He must’ve been lucky.

“We’re very excited. We’ll have a night out to celebrate and there’s a few things we need so it’ll be really helpful.”

Following our life-changing phone call, a Richmond woman poured a cup of tea to calm her nerves after bagging a $1.5 million Saturday Lotto win. The northwest Sydney resident intends to share the prize with her family and friends, while also planning her next trip. 

“I can help my children. I’ll get them set up and I have a friend I’d love to help as well. I can share the joy around,” she said breathlessly.

“I’m used to winning the odd $50 here and there, so $100,000 blew my mind. 

“It’ll make a big change, that’s for sure.

“I was heading to the movies and thought, why not treat myself to Gold Class tickets? It’s not every day that you win $100,000.”
