What are the chances of winning division one twice? A Bundaberg man was astounded that he won the Set for Life prize of $20,000 a month for 20 years, when only a few years earlier he’d also pocketed a $1 million lottery prize.

But the Set for Life surprises didn’t stop there! The game was quick to deliver another division one prize this week, this time to a mystery New South Wales player. The entry is unregistered, so make sure to check your tickets!

Double division one delight

Lottery lightning struck twice for a Bundaberg resident after he won his second ever division one prize. He’ll walk away with a total Set for Life prize of $4.8 million, paid in monthly instalments of $20,000 a month for 20 years.

“We were just having coffee when the phone went off. I heard your voice message and thought, ‘Wow, I better go check my ticket’,” he explained.

“It was a shock! My heart is still pumping. I’m still a bit jittery at the moment.

“This is the second time we’ve won division one! We won $1 million in 2022. I reckon I must be lucky.”

A dreamy new chapter

A Mount Waverley man was stunned to discover his decades-long lottery numbers delivered a TattsLotto division one win! His $1.25 million prize will go towards purchasing a new home.

“I input my numbers through on my computer and that’s when I saw $1.25 million come up on the screen. I couldn’t believe it!” he exclaimed.

“I’ve been waiting a long time. I’ve played TattsLotto for many decades!

“I’ve been living in the same place for about 40 years, and I think I’m ready for a change.

“I was going to get on the tools and renovate the house, but this prize means I won’t have to!”

A worthy win

Overcome with excitement, a Merrylands woman barely slept after discovering her $1.25 million Saturday Lotto win and has pledged to donate most towards helping disadvantaged children.

“I honestly haven’t slept for days. I just can’t believe it’s real,” she said in shock.

“I’ve been buying a small Saturday Lotto ticket for a couple of years.

“My dream has always been to give back to my home country. I want to help the children there who are very poor.

“I’m not going to tell many people, but I want to spoil my family in little ways.”

High flying

And finally, a Wollongong man was left in a daze when his Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot ticket won $100,000. To celebrate the win, he plans to upgrade his flights to first class.

“No way! I was expecting you to say $5,000!” he cheered.

“I’m about to head overseas, so I might just upgrade a few things.

“I have always wanted to fly business class. Now might be the time to give it a try!"
