One ACT player won the entire $40 million Powerball jackpot tonight, but the identity of the new multi-millionaire remains a mystery.

The mystery player held the only division one winning entry nationally in Powerball draw 1571 on Thursday 25 June 2026.

The winning entry was purchased at Thistle Kiosk, Shop 4A, Westfield Woden, 1 Keltie Street, Woden.

It’s the third biggest lottery prize ever won in the ACT. In the ACT, players have six years to claim their prizes.

If the winner had been part of The Lott Members Club and registered their ticket to a player card or online account, they would have already been alerted to their good fortune.

Instead, we are eagerly waiting for the ticketholder to check their ticket and come forward.

In addition to the $40 million division one winner, there were 1,085,541 winners across divisions two to nine in tonight's game draw who collectively took home more than $25.98 million.

We’re urging all of ACT residents or visitors who purchased an entry in tonight’s draw to check their tickets.

If you discover you’re holding the division one winning entry, hold on tight to that ticket and phone 131 868 as soon as possible so that we can start the prize claim process.

We can’t wait for the winner to discover this winning news! Just imagine how $40 million might change your life and the lives of your nearest and dearest.

This is also an important reminder to register your lottery tickets to a player card or online account with The Lott Members Club, so if you are to score a major prize, we can reach out with the winning news.
