UPDATE 14 JUNE, 2025: Whilst we are yet to hear from the mystery division one Powerball winner, we can reveal the entry was purchased at Bondi Junction Newsagency & Internet Café.

One Australian has pocketed the entire $100 million jackpot in tonight’s Powerball draw, but they may be completely oblivious to their newfound fortune.

The Sydney player held the only division one winning entry nationally in Powerball draw 1517, drawn Thursday 12 June 2025 and can look forward to an eye-watering $100 million.

As tonight’s winning entry was not registered to The Lott Members Club, the identity of the ticketholder remains a mystery, and they may be yet to discover they’re now $100 million richer.

They share the title of Australia’s third-biggest lottery winner ever.

In addition to the $100 million division one winner, there were 3,056,245 wins across divisions two to nine in tonight’s Powerball draw that collectively took home more than $60.9 million in prize money. There were also six division two winners who each scored $282,415.55.

We're urging all of Sydney’s eastern suburbs residents or visitors who purchased an entry in tonight’s draw to check their tickets.

If you discover you’re holding the division one winning entry, hold on tight to that ticket and phone 131 868 as soon as possible so that we can start the prize claim process.

This is also an important reminder for players to register their lottery tickets to a player card or online account with The Lott Members Club, so if you are to score a major prize, we can reach out to you with the winning news.
