A Dapto man was rocked by the realisation he’d misplaced his lottery ticket, only to find it in his car just in time for us to confirm his $100,000 Lucky Lotteries win.

The Wollongong resident scored the 1st Prize in Lucky Lotteries Super jackpot draw 11082, drawn Monday 29 June 2026. He pocketed $100,000.

The win almost slipped through his fingers as he scrambled to locate the elusive ticket during the confirmation call.

“We’re in the process of renovating so everything’s not where it’s supposed to be,” he said while he searched for his ticket.

“Actually, I know where the ticket is! It’s in the car.

“Did I really win $100,000? Thank you so much. That’s wonderful!

“Wow. I’m more than happy with that. That’ll pay for these renovations.

“This is so unexpected. I’m speechless.

“I’ve been playing for decades, probably 40 years if not more.

“I’ve never won something like this. Thank you!”

His winning entry of two random numbers was purchased from newsXpress Dapto, Shop G106, Dapto Mall, Princes Hwy & Moombara St, Dapto.
