A Blacktown grandmother is putting her foot on the pedal after scoring $100,000 in today’s Lucky Lotteries draw, and her first stop is driving lessons for her granddaughter.
 
The Sydney resident held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 11033, drawn Wednesday 6 August 2025. She can look forward to a wondrous $100,000.
 
When we called the winning woman moments after the draw, she was left completely stalled by the surprise.
 
“Holy moly! I was a bit puzzled why you were calling me,” she said.

“This is the biggest shock of my life. You don’t know how much this means.

“I’ll be getting my granddaughter driving lessons. She’s my rock and she really helps me so much.
 
“My family has been through a lot so I can share this with them and help them.
 
“I was just ready to head out to the shops, so I’ll have a nice lunch now while I’m out.
 
“I never thought I’d ever win this much. I’ve played on and off for over 20 years.
 
“Thank you very much for this phone call. It couldn’t have come at a better time in my life!”
 
Her winning entry of one random number was purchased at Nextra Westpoint, Shop 3059 Westpoint, 17 Patrick Street, Blacktown.
