An overjoyed Gungahlin man was left gasping and in dire need of a glass of water after receiving the news he’d pocketed $100,000 in today’s Lucky Lotteries draw.

The Canberra resident held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10975, drawn Friday 9 May 2025. He can look forward to $100,000.

When we broke the winning news, the stunned man erupted into tears of joy.

“Thank you! Thank you!” the winning man cried.

“This is mind-blowing!

“Sorry, I’m just lost for words right now.

“Oh my god. Oh my god.

“I need some water and to sit down before you continue with the good news.

“It means so much to me. I truly can’t believe it.

“I’m listening to you, but I’m too excited to absorb what you’re saying.”

When asked how he might enjoy his $100,000 boost, the emotional man shared the prize would allow him to enjoy a long-overdue holiday and pay off his house.

“I can do so much with this prize. I can finally go on a holiday and pay off my house,” he said.

“I can’t thank you enough. I’m going to shout really loud after this phone call.”

His winning entry of ten random numbers was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
