A Brighton couple had an unregistered Powerball entry sitting on their fridge for several days, unaware this would reveal a $20 million prize. Two hardworking Victorian grandparents were overwhelmed by the discovery of their $20 million Powerball prize, having left their unregistered ticket on their fridge door. When looking closely at the winning QuickPick entry, they were delighted to see the ticket revealed some special numbers. 

“This is unbelievable. We had no idea, and this whole time the ticket was just sitting on our fridge,” the winning wife explained. 

“We’ve both been really busy, so we just forgot to check it.

“Oh wow. It was just a QuickPick but my lucky number is here and some birthdays and anniversaries. It was meant to be!”

A Hamilton father now has a million possibilities on his mind about how to spend his Weekday Windfall division one prize. 

“My wife and I have been looking to do something nice, and we’ve been thinking about an overseas family holiday. That’ll be a definite now!” he exclaimed.

“This is amazing. We’ll get the kids some nice presents for sure. They’ve all been working hard.

“We can pay off the school fees and pay the mortgage. It just allows you to do so much instead of working your guts out!

“It really will make a great difference. We’ll be able to help out the community too and just be more generous.”
