In what can only be described as a showstopping moment, a Central Highlands man is now living the dream after watching his winning lottery numbers come up on the television.

Showstopping TattsLotto ticket

An Ararat man was left awestruck after seeing his TattsLotto numbers roll across the television screen, instantly revealing his $931,000 division one prize. 

“It was late Saturday night, and I was watching TV when the TattsLotto numbers came up. I suddenly realised, ‘Hang on! Those numbers seem really familiar!’ he recalled. 

“I checked my ticket straight away and that’s when I found out I’d won division one!

“My wife and I are now retired, so this will be a huge help towards our retirement years.”

Winning never tasted so good 

A hardworking Parramatta man's lunch-time routine of buying lottery tickets finally paid off when his Saturday Lotto ticket scored division one.

“It’s pretty exciting. I’m young, so I’m just going to be wise with it and set myself up for the future,” he explained when asked what he would do with the prize. 

“I play regularly. I work in the city, so I usually just pop to the newsagency on my lunch break and get myself a $10 ticket. It’s pretty routine for me.

“When I checked my ticket on Sunday, I knew it was a winning ticket, but not how much it had won as the prize amount was not available. 

“Then I checked it again yesterday and that’s when I realised, I’d actually won!”

House goals unlocked

Meanwhile, a Liverpool man is getting ready to clear the mortgage on his newly purchased home, thanks to his winning Saturday Lotto entry. 

“It means so much to me and my wife. We’ve just got a mortgage to purchase a home, so it’s awesome timing,” he shared.  

“It honestly felt like my heart stopped. I’m still in shock and even my wife didn’t believe it either.

“It’s a miracle and amazingly, there were six other winners in the draw, so it’s shared around. Congratulations to all of them, too!”

And a Bellmere woman had the whole family listening in to the moment she won $200,000 from a recent Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.  

“My entire family is over at the moment, and I put you on speaker phone as you confirmed the prize,” she said excitedly. 

“We’re all jumping up and down, and my son is screaming. I think we’re making the house shake.
