Discover what she plans to do with the prize below.
Lovestruck on Lucky Lotteries
While Valentine's Day is still a little while away, a Mackay woman tugged at our heartstrings after she won $200,000 in a recent Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
“I love you! You’ve just become my instant bestie!” the winning woman declared when we shared the news.
Together with her partner, they’re now planning a trip-of-a-lifetime to their dream destination.
“You know what, this has come at a great time! My partner and I have been talking about doing some travel in the near future,” she said.
“It always felt a little distant until now. Italy has definitely been on our wish list.”
A winning birthday
Meanwhile, the surprises continued for a Castle Hill man when he scratched the top prize on a gifted Instant Scratch-Its ticket.
“It was my birthday recently and I got gifted several Instant Scratch-Its tickets by friends and family,” he explained.
“When I scratched the top prize-winning ticket, I honestly went into shock, and I don’t think I’ve been able to think straight since.
“I visited The Lott head office today and it was very exciting. It was surreal to sit in the winner’s lounge and know that I’m a part of the winning club now!”
Retirement beckons
After his TattsLotto ticket delivered a $2.5 million win on the weekend, a Maribyrnong man was in a reflective mood and reminiscing on how his family used to dream of a win just like this!
“I’ve been playing these numbers for years. I can’t remember why I picked them, but I’m glad I did!” he cheered.
“I remember when I was a kid, my dad used to play for years and years. All the relatives would pool together to buy a ticket. And now I’ve won!”
The Melburnian shared he’s excited to kickstart retirement plans and see the family more often.
“[Retirement] was probably four or five years off, but now I can do it earlier and spend more time with the family,” he said.
With the Saturday lotto Superdraw delivering eight division one winners recently, we’re excited to see what happens next with the $10 million special event for draw 4623. Have you got your entry?
