Celebrating six years of support with Childhood Cancer Association
Childhood Cancer Association has been a source of strength for children with cancer and their families in South Australia for over 40 years.
They offer a range of free, tailored services - from counselling for sick kids and their entire family, to education support and accommodation services, all designed to meet the unique needs of the family.
It’s donations like ours that allow these services to remain cost-free and accessible to more families facing the challenges of childhood cancer.
Over the past six years, The Lott by SA Lotteries has been a proud partner of the Childhood Cancer Association and this year we’re continuing that support with a $100,000 donation, which wouldn’t be possible without our incredible customers and retailers.
And this year, the Association has launched a new nutritional support service after identifying nutrition as a gap in a child’s treatment journey.
“Nutrition for kids, for their healthy bones and healthy muscles is essential and we identified this as an area that our services needed to offer,“ said Childhood Cancer Association CEO Cath O’Loughlin.
“We have recently opened this service as of June and it’s because of the support of The Lott, not only just in the past 12 months but over the past 6 years, that allows us to plan for the future and work on developing projects just like this.”

SA Lotteries Partnerships Manager Liz McPherson expressed that the impact Cath and her team have on the community is immeasurable.
“It’s such a privilege to be able to support the association for the sixth year in a row so we can continue to help children and families affected by childhood cancer to get the support they need.”
