How would you react to a winning phone call from us? From jovial cheers to heartfelt tears, it was a mixed bag of emotions from our nine Saturday Lotto Superdraw division one winners.

The super-sized event last weekend saw wins shared right across the country – two each in Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales and Western Australia, and one in Queensland. Catch up on all the action below!

Good mates, a great life

Two Cleveland workmates have traded tools for a total treat after discovering they held a Saturday Gold Lotto division one winning entry. The duo declared they’re ready to wipe their mortgage clean, support the family, and take a well-timed holiday.

“We’ve been working together for 20 years, and we always go halves in a ticket together. We never expected to actually win division one,” one of the winning pair shared.

“I’ve taken the day shift off today, and we’re going to go in together to claim the prize. It’s so exciting.

“I’ll pay off the mortgage and go on a holiday for a couple of weeks.

“My mate will also pay off his mortgage and help his family.”

Revving for the win

Meanwhile, a Wagga Wagga woman is gearing up to enjoy the finer things in life by taking a joy ride with her $2.2 million Saturday Lotto win.

“I only play Saturday Lotto and I’ve only won two prizes this year - $22 and $8. The guy at the newsagency told me I was saving up to win the big one… and here it is!” she celebrated.

“I’ve always said, you don’t need a big ticket, you just need a ticket with all the numbers!

“I won’t retire and will keep working as I love what I do.

“But I will buy a new car! That’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while.”

Family first

And after we confirmed his $2.2 million TattsLotto prize, an Abbotsford man broke down into tears, promising to dedicate his winnings to those nearest and dearest.

“Oh my god. You have no idea how much this means to me,” he cried.

“This win is for my family. I have loved ones and children I want to look after.

“We’ve done it tough our entire lives and this changes everything.

“The first thing I’m going to do is call my sister and tell her I’m paying off her house.”

Pique one’s curiosity

After venturing all the way to the Apple Isle, a Hillwood man is grinning ear-to-ear after checking his TattsLotto QuickPick entry had fast-tracked him to a $2.2 million boost.

“My wife heard on Monday that Mowbray newsXpress and Lotto had sold two division one winning entries over the weekend, and one of them was yet to be claimed,” he explained.

“I held off for a while, but then I was at work and curiosity got the better of me. I thought, ‘Crumbs! I should probably check this!’. So, I dropped everything and had to find out right then and there.

“I currently work a really, really stressful job, and I’m not enjoying it. This will allow me to change jobs completely without the stress.

“I’m going to also finish painting the house and pay it off completely, which is amazing.”
