It was a medley of multi-million-dollar wins this week thanks to Saturday Lotto’s $20 million Superdraw. The draw delivered a sensational result, with eight winning entries sharing the division one prize pool and taking home $2.5 million each!

The wins swept right across the country with Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia each nabbing two wins, and Victoria and the ACT landing one each. Check out the sensational highlights from this draw below!

Syndicate wins take centre stage

In Coffs Harbour, a group of mates had the surprise of their life when they realised their private syndicate had scored division one in the recent Saturday Lotto Superdraw. The syndicate leader discovered the win during a late-night ticket check but struggled to believe her eyes.

“It’s amazing! It’s a group of us that won, and we’ve been friends for over 30 years,” she said.

“I checked my ticket in bed while I was trying to sleep. I had my glasses on, but I thought I was seeing double.

“I went around to all their houses, banging on their doors and waking them up. Then I brought them all to my place and broke the news.”

And 10 Ipswich shoppers also stepped into the week with a generous share of the multi-million-dollar Superdraw prize. The Ipswich City Mall Newsagent syndicate, Saturday Dreaming, saw each member take home a nice slice of $250,000.84.

While the syndicate members who registered their entry to The Lott Members Club have been alerted to their good fortune, several members of the winning group held unregistered entries, and might still be unaware of their good fortune.

We're urging anyone who purchased a share into a store syndicate for the recent Saturday Gold Lotto draw, to check your ticket in-store, via thelott.com or via The Lott app today!

Million-dollar miles!

A hop, skip and a jump from Ipswich, a Reedy Creek couple is swapping legroom woes for champagne flows as they jet off in business class for the first time following their $2.5 million Saturday Gold Lotto Superdraw.

“I don’t think it’s really sunk in. You always dream of it happening but never expect it to happen to you,” the winning husband shared.

“I dare say we’ll start with Europe; a holiday to Europe will be on the cards. I’m also quite tall so I struggle with economy, but now we can go business class – for the first time in our lives!”

From dreaming to multi-million-dollar reality

Meanwhile in Victoria, a Moonee Valley woman had no idea she was a division one winner until she finally picked up our call during her lunch break. She’d only started playing Lotto about five months ago and couldn’t believe she’d taken out the TattsLotto division one prize.

“Oh my god! I’ve never won stuff like this! Wow! This is unheard of,” she cried.

“This is very surreal! I’m just trying to take it all in. Geez Louise! I can’t believe this!

“I wish we had a virtual TV so you could reach out and slap me to wake me up. I feel like I’m dreaming.”

No doubt it will all feel real when she sees that $2.5 million prize land in her bank account.

Four-decade-long strategy pays off

The winning didn’t stop with the Superdraw! A Happy Valley man was left cheering, after his four-decade-long unique way to play paid off — literally — with a division one Weekday Windfall win. Stunned at what was to come, the man shared his “interesting way of playing” with us.

“I have an interesting way of playing. I always look at the previous week’s draw results, and I always choose different numbers to what was drawn,” he explained.

“When I was marking off my numbers last night, I was quite happy to get four, then I kept checking and discovered I had all six! I was shocked.”
