Ten Ipswich shoppers are stepping into the week with a slice of a multi-million-dollar Saturday Gold Lotto prize, but some may have yet to discover their good fortune.
 
The store syndicate, aptly named Saturday Dreaming, held one of the eight division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Gold Lotto, draw 4559, drawn Saturday 29 March 2025. Each division one winning entry pocketed $2.5 million.
 
Each member of the syndicate took home $250,000.84.
 
Shares into the syndicate were purchased at Ipswich City Mall Newsagent, Shop 42, Ipswich City Mall, Ipswich.
 
Ipswich City Mall Newsagent owner Pauline Williamson said she was ecstatic that her outlet had sold its first division one winning entry.
 
“It was my day off today, but I have come to work to share the good news with my staff. It has been a long time coming as I have had this newsagency for 10 years and this is the first division one winning ticket we have sold,” she said.
 
“It’s such a great honour selling a division one winning syndicate to 10 very deserving customers.

“It’s such a life-changing experience for them, and I wish them all the happiness life has to offer. Hopefully, this can become a recurring event in the future.” 

While the syndicate members who registered their entry to The Lott Members Club have been alerted to their good fortune, several members of the winning group held unregistered entries, and might still be unaware of their good fortune.
