Saturday lotto is proudly played across Australia under the brands Gold Lotto, Lotto, TattsLotto and X Lotto, bringing winning moments to players nationwide.

A Gungahlin man couldn’t stop laughing when he realised he was now $1.6 million richer from the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw.

The ACT resident held one of the 18 division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Lotto draw 4639 on Saturday 3 January 2026. Each division one winning entry scored $1,666,666.67.

When we reached out to the winning man on Sunday morning, he was already hard at work despite his new millionaire status.

“I checked the ticket early this morning, but I couldn’t believe it,” he laughed.

“I’ve checked it constantly ever since.

“I still can’t believe it, but I’m glad you called!

“I’m actually at work now, but I have a smile on my face and this will just make life a bit easier.

“You have no idea what this means to me, but I’ve yet to decide exactly what I’ll do with the prize.

“You’re an angel!”

The man’s winning 18-game QuickPick entry was purchased on The Lott website – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
