In case you missed it: $7.5M Oz Lotto win leaves Sydneysider stunned and sleepless
Birthdays, baking and Burwood surprises – we love sprinkling in division one delight. Our latest lottery winners described their windfall as nothing short of life-changing, including a Sydney man who spent the entire night buzzing with excitement over his $7.5 million Oz Lotto win. Check out his story and others from the week just gone.
It’s the real deal
In New South Wales, a Burwood man was glued to his phone all night, repeatedly checking The Lott app after discovering he had won a staggering $7.5 million in the Oz Lotto game.
“We’ve been juggling our thoughts all night. We’ve been so nervous that it’s just an error,” he shared.
“I can’t say we’ve slept much. I just kept refreshing The Lott app and tossing and turning.
“It’s life-changing. It’ll set us up completely.”
Icing on the cake
We also delivered the sweetest surprise to a Singleton woman, sharing that she had scored a $1 million Weekday Windfall win.
“I was just doing some baking today, and I had to run to the phone, but I just missed your first call. I’m glad you called a second time!” she explained.
“I’m actually in between jobs at the moment, so you have no idea how much this means.
“I know I have a million things I want to do, but my mind has gone blank right now.”
Nothing beats this birthday
Adding to the excitement, a Braidwood woman topped off her birthday celebrations when she unwrapped a Lotto Strike division one win.
“Sometimes I’ll just play two games in Lotto Strike, but as a birthday treat, I got myself five games,” she said.
“It’s unbelievable. It’s the best birthday present ever!
“It’s still sinking in, but I’m sure once reality sets in, I’ll do something to celebrate.
“I’ll definitely be helping my family. Thank you so much.”
One ticket for the win
On a whim, a Mullumbimby woman used her loose change to enter into the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw, never imagining that she would take home the 1st Prize.
“I saw an email urging me to check my Lucky Lotteries ticket, and when I did, it said I’d won $100,000,” she exclaimed.
“This was a random purchase. I don’t usually buy Lucky Lotteries tickets, but I had won $19 on another game and after buying another ticket with those winnings, I had a few dollars left.
“So, I thought I might try buying a raffle ticket. Just goes to show you only need one ticket to win.”
Imagine if your lottery ticket yielded a division one prize. Play for the chance to experience your own winning moment by grabbing an entry in-store, online or via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
