A Darra woman’s dream turned into a generous reality after she took home the entire $24 million Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize, which she pledges to donate to charity. Check out her story, and how our other lottery winners reacted when we shared their winning news this week.

A humble heart

In sunny Queensland, a Darra woman has charity on top of her mind, after she won the entire $24 million Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot in last Friday’s draw.

“There’s a lot of things I could do, but donating to charity is the most important,” she expressed.

“I would like to donate to some cancer and domestic violence charities. These are the sort of charities that hold a special place in my heart.

“I love my job, so I’ll continue showing up to work.

“I’ll also be able to help my kids out a lot.”

Accelerating to fortune

Tuning in to New South Wales, a Singleton woman’s morning commute took an unexpected turn, after a radio announcement prompted her to check her Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot ticket, revealing a $200,000 win.

“It’s funny, I’d completely forgotten about the ticket until I heard on the radio that there was a mystery winner in draw 1706 from the Singleton area,” she explained.

“I turned to my hubby and told him, ‘I was in that one. I should check my ticket!’"

The Hunter Valley resident is excited to celebrate with family and start ticking off her bucket list with an overseas trip.

“We’d love to go on a trip sometime soon. New Zealand has been on our bucket list for some time, so hopefully we can make it there,” she said.

“I’ve also told the whole family to come over and I’ll shout them some Chinese.”

Keys to a dreamy life

Heading further down the coastline, an Echuca dad is clearing his mortgage and ready to help his children get on the front foot in life, with his $900,000 TattsLotto win.

“Haha, wow! It’s been so nerve-wracking carrying around this unregistered ticket. I’ll definitely be registering any tickets from now on!” he exclaimed.

“I’ll be paying off the mortgage for sure. Then I’ll put some aside for the kids and their home deposits!

“I’m sure I’ll enjoy the rest but be very responsible with it.”

A win from above

And finally, a Salisbury woman expressed her gratitude to her late husband, who she believes helped land her $1 million Weekday Windfall win.

“My husband passed away a few years ago, and I truly believe he’s looking down at us and making sure I’m okay. It’s such a blessing, and I feel so grateful,” she shared.

“It’s an amazing amount of money. I’ve been through a fair bit in the past few years, but it feels like things are really looking up.

“I’ve always said I have a feeling I’ll win division one, one day.”

You could also be in with the chance to land a major lottery prize, with the Oz Lotto draw climbing to $15 million for draw 1640 this Tuesday. Don’t forget to register any tickets with The Lott Members Club, so we can call you with any winning news. Good luck!
