This week’s Easter festivities were made even more exciting with Aussies scoring a basketful of unexpected division one delights. Check out the winning highlights from the week!

20 Aussies unwrap sweet Saturday Lotto wins

Saturday Lotto took centre stage, delivering 20 division one wins from all corners of the country! Six wins landed in Queensland, five in Victoria, two each in New South Wales, South Australia, Tasmania and Western Australia, and one in the Northern Territory. Each division one winner walked away with a sweet $250,000 each.

A man from Port Adelaide is thanking a “funny feeling” for reminding him to check his Saturday X Lotto ticket, which led him to his exciting windfall. When we called the winning man, he already knew how he was going to divvy up his division one win.

“With Easter and everything, I had forgotten all about the draw,” he said. 
  
“But I had a funny feeling, and about midnight on Saturday, I logged in and had a look. 

“To my surprise, there was a surprise! I couldn’t believe that 20 people had won division one! 

“I think about 80% of it will go on the mortgage, and with the rest we’ll treat ourselves to something. Maybe a holiday with upgraded flights and hotels!” 

And a Richmond woman is thanking her random selection of numbers from over a decade ago, after they delivered her a sweet $250,000 in the recent Saturday Lotto draw. Busy with Easter, she was “gobsmacked” when we delivered the winning news.

“I’ve been busy with Easter, so I hadn’t got around to checking my ticket,” she confessed.
 
“That is so incredible. I’m gobsmacked!
 
“When I saw a number calling me from Queensland, I ignored it. But then I saw it was from The Lott!

“Those numbers were kind of random. I started playing them about 10 or 15 years ago. I have to say I don’t think there was a pattern. I’m glad I kept playing them.”

Lucky Lotteries wins surprise and delight

As the Lucky Lotteries jackpots continue to climb, so too do the number of 1st Prize winners in each draw. 

In Tea Gardens, a woman was inspired by her sister’s love of Lucky Lotteries and, on a spontaneous whim, decided to buy her very first ticket into the Super Jackpot draw. To her amazement, that spur-of-the-moment decision landed her a $100,000 windfall. 

“I can’t believe this. Thank you! Thank you!” she cried.

“I’m about to go to the doctor’s when you called, and then I’m off to a lunch with friends. I’ll have to pop open a bottle of champagne now!

“I bought the ticket on the spur-of-the-moment. My sister likes Lucky Lotteries, and I thought I’d give it a go. I’ve never purchased one before!

“Oh wow! I never expected to win the major prize.”  

Meanwhile, over in the Central West, a Parkes man is gearing up to bring his dream home makeover to life after also scoring a $100,000 win in a recent Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw. 

“That’s pretty good news! Very good news!” he cheered when his prize was revealed.

“I never expect to win. I always just buy a ticket and hope for the best.

“I’ve come close to winning the big one on a few occasions. It feels surreal. 

“My old house needs a lot of work done. Renovations are expensive, so this has come at the perfect time.
 
“It’s just great news. Today feels extra good now.”
