From warehouse to wallet, we know that delivering great lottery games comes with even greater responsibility — including how we source in-store materials, such as receipts and lottery coupons, for all the games you love.

That’s why we’re proud to work with Queensland Gaming and Wagering Supplies (QGAWS), the leading manufacturer of gaming tickets in Australia! QGAWS has been a long-standing supplier of our thermal receipt rolls and lottery coupons. Whether you’ve been handed a ticket into your favourite game, or used the coupons to mark your special numbers, QGAWS helps us deliver a great in-store experience for you, our players, through their high-quality materials.

But what makes this partnership even more valuable is our shared approach to sustainability and responsible sourcing.

Each year, a considerable amount of raw material is used to produce our in-store thermal receipt rolls and coupons. QGAWS takes the steps to ensure most of the paper used in our materials is sourced from paper mills that hold valid FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) or PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) certifications.

These internationally recognised certifications guarantee the paper comes from sustainably managed forests, supporting biodiversity, fair labour practices, and ethical supply chain management. It's not just about paper—it's about protecting our planet for future generations.

Beyond sourcing sustainable materials, QGAWS is committed to reducing waste and minimising its environmental footprint through its recycling partner Shred-X. Everything they can recycle, they do. From wastepaper and cardboard to the plastic generated during production, Shred-X focuses on diverting waste from landfills, giving materials a second life.

This full-circle approach means sustainability remains a priority, from where the materials are sourced to how they’re discarded.

As we continue to evolve and grow, The Lott is proud to work alongside organisations like QGAWS that align with our values and purpose, positively impacting players, partners, and the community.

Together, we're not just supporting the games Australians love to play—we're helping build a more sustainable future, one lottery ticket and coupon at a time.
