Lottery lightning struck in the small New South Wales town of Denman this week, when a local woman’s favourite numbers unveiled a $1 million Weekday Windfall prize.

“I’ve been running those numbers for the last 20 years. I don’t know where I got the numbers from, but I just stuck with them,” she explained.

“I just thought, ‘I’ll keep playing them as one day they might come up,’ and that day has finally come! What a way to finish the week!

“It will make our lives better. It just takes the pressure off. It will allow us to pay off some bills and save for the future.”

Meanwhile, an Armidale father’s web search was flooded with lottery questions after he realised he won division one in the Saturday Lotto game.  

“A thousand thoughts started going through my mind. I was wondering whether it was real or not, and what I needed to do now. It was very hard to stay calm,” he shared.

“I’m kind of a boring guy. Straight away, I started thinking of how I can be most sensible with it, and of course, I’m googling every question that pops into my head while I’m at it.

“We’ll keep it real and take our time. I think paying off the home loan will be the first order of business, and I’ll be treating the family to a holiday.”

A winning moment

For a Noble Park man, his heart skipped a beat when he was rendered speechless with the news of his 1st Prize winning entry in the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot. 

“I was having heart palpitations as I logged into my online account and checked my ticket,” he said.

“I couldn’t believe it.

“I woke up this morning, and I thought it might’ve all been a dream.”
