Oz Lotto, Powerball, and Set for Life all delivered incredible prizes this week with our new Aussie winners sharing the remarkable ways they struck it big. There were numbers that came from a dream, others that came ‘straight from a hat’, and one winner who had a premonition while driving.

The surprises kept on coming! Catch up on all the thrilling highlights:

Mackay man set to share $15 million Oz Lotto win with loved ones

Oz Lotto burst into 2025 with a bang and shows no signs of slowing down! This week, a Mackay man scooped up the entire $15 million jackpot prize. He was completely oblivious to his multi-million-dollar win until we called him and broke the life-changing news—leaving him in a state of shock and struggling to string words together. The generous winner wasted no time thinking of ways to put his win to good use, starting by helping his nearest and dearest who’ve been facing tough times.

“Holy f***ing s***! Are you kidding me?! Holy s***!” he exclaimed.

“I can’t believe it. Holy, holy, holy!

“I’ll help my friends and family who have been really struggling.

“I have a few people in mind. I can’t wait to make their lives easier.”

Bizarre number-picking strategy delivers Set for Life payday

The wins continued in Queensland, with a Pomona man who attributed his magical Set for Life win to his unique method of picking numbers out of a hat. The elated winner shared he’d been using the numbers for years now and told us he couldn’t wait to fully retire himself and his wife.

“Did I really win $20,000 a month for 20 years?!” he questioned.

“I wasn’t expecting this at all. I’m emotional. I don’t even know what to say.

“Believe it or not, I chose my numbers by writing them all down and putting them in a hat. Then I just picked them out and I’ve used them ever since.

“We’re semi-retired but I think this will be the push to put us in full retirement.”

Unshakeable gut feeling leads to Lucky Lotteries win

As our Pomona winner basks in the endless possibilities his Set for Life prize will bring over the next two decades, a man from Rushcutters Bay revealed a powerful premonition which led him to purchasing his $100,000 winning Lucky Lotteries ticket. When we called with the thrilling news, he was completely gobsmacked, pacing his house in shock, unable to process the life-enhancing moment.

“I don’t even know what to say right now. I can’t even tell you what I’m thinking. I’m speechless.

“F**k! This is too good.

“I’ve had a really strong feeling that I was about to come into a big win the last couple of days.

“When I was driving home the other day, I had an immense premonition hit me that I was going to win something crazy. So, I pulled over on the side of the road and grabbed a ticket into this draw.”

Numbers from a dream deliver $30 million Powerball prize

Not to be left out of this week’s excitement, Powerball delivered an auspicious win to a Point Cook couple who used numbers revealed to them in a dream on their Powerball ticket. They pocketed the entire $30 million jackpot with their PowerHit entry.

“I had a dream about these numbers – 1, 7, 11 and 22. There were other numbers, but I didn’t remember them all,” the winning husband said.

“I’ve always had these numbers in my head so I put them and a few others on a ticket a few years ago, hoping they would pay off. And it did!

“We’re pretty low key. We’ll still go to work tomorrow. We just want to enjoy life.  We’ll speak to a financial advisor and invest.”

What a way to close out February. As we boldly march into the month of March, here’s hoping it’s a winning one for you. Good luck, everyone.
