Despite having just finished a long workday, a Port Pirie woman has confessed she felt energised, ecstatic and emotional after discovering she’d pocketed $200,000 in yesterday’s Lucky Lotteries draw.

The South Australian held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1701 on Tuesday 29 April 2025.

“I’ve just finished work for the day. I didn’t have any reception, and I’ve only just had the chance to look at my phone and email. Thank you!” the woman cried.

“I’m so happy, I’m in tears! I’m laughing and crying.

“Oh my god! I don’t know what to say. It means a lot to me.

“I don’t always play Lucky Lotteries. This was a bonus ticket I got when I purchased my Powerball ticket, and it turned out to be the luckiest one!

“I’m thinking of buying a block of land for a home and upgrading my old car.

“It’s overwhelming. I’m so happy inside. I can’t believe I won it.”

The woman’s winning entry of one random number was from The Lott website – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
