A Helensvale woman was left in a dizzying state of disbelief and her hands shaking uncontrollably after discovering she’d scooped up $200,000 in yesterday’s Lucky Lotteries draw.

The Gold Coast local held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1723, drawn Tuesday 7 October 2025 and looks forward to a total prize of $200,000.

So far in 2025, there have been 14 major lottery wins in the Gold Coast region that have collectively taken home more than $27 million in prize money.

“I can’t stop shaking!” she screamed.

“I’m honestly in shock right now. I had just checked my ticket online moments before you called.

“I’m just sitting down right now thinking, ‘Wow! What on earth do I do now?’.

“Two hundred thousand dollars is wild! It’s the first time I’ve ever won anything this big in my entire life.

“It feels like my head is spinning round and round.”

Despite experiencing some winning side effects, the stunned woman couldn’t wait to share the news with her husband.

“All I want to do right now is call my husband and give him the good news,” she said.

“Only thing is he’s currently on a flight, so he is unreachable!

“It’s just amazing news. We’ll be able to help out family and tick off some travel we’ve been wanting to do.”

Her winning entry of three random numbers was purchased at Fortune News Helensvale, Shop 1001, Westfield Helensvale 1-29 Millaroo Drive, Helensvale.
