A Melton couple’s very first lottery ticket has delivered a game-changing $1.28 million win in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw, giving them the boost they needed to get out of a rough trot.
 
The Melburnians held one of the four division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4553, drawn Saturday 8 March 2025. Each entry scooped $1,262,948.41.
 
When we called the pair earlier this morning, they erupted into cheers and screams, barely able to believe their first-ever ticket had delivered such an incredible win.
 
“Are you serious?!” the winning husband exclaimed.
