A man from Malvern who is used to small TattsLotto wins has admitted nothing could prepare him for his $3.3 million prize in the weekend’s draw.

The Melburnian held one of the six division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4571, drawn Saturday 10 May 2025. Each entry scored $3,333,333.34.

So far in 2025, there have been 13 major lottery wins land in the east Melbourne region, collectively taking home more than $15.44 million in prize money.

“Thank you very much!” he laughed when we confirmed his windfall this morning.

“I discovered the win on Saturday night. Normally, when I win only $11 or $16, I receive an email about it. But I noticed that I didn’t receive an email, and I thought that was strange.

“Then I went to check the ticket, and I couldn’t believe it. I’d won division one!

“It’s hard to believe I’ve won $3.3 million!

“I’ve been patiently waiting for your call since Saturday night.”

When asked how he planned to enjoy his life as a newly minted multi-millionaire, the gleeful dad shared that family would come first.

“I haven’t had a thorough think about it just yet, but I’m sure I’ll put it towards the future of my family,” he shared.

His winning 6-game QuickPick entry was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
