A Tamworth man has been jolted wide awake by the eye-popping revelation he won $15 million in last night's Oz Lotto draw.

The New South Wales player held one of the two division one winning entries nationally in Oz Lotto draw 1660 on Tuesday 9 December 2025. Each division one winning entry pocketed $15 million.

The winner was oblivious to his good fortune until we made contact tonight.

“You know how long I’ve been waiting for a call like this? A very long time!” he laughed.

“I was wondering who was ringing me so late.

“I’m about ready to have a heart attack.

“Thank you so much. I’m going to have a cry now.

“It’s been a tough few years but I want to buy myself a house and take it easy and be comfortable. You don’t know what this means to me.

“I can’t believe only two of us in Australia had these numbers!

“And I get paid on Christmas Eve, 24 December! Show me the money!”

The man’s winning marked 18-game entry was purchased at Northgate News, Shop 6, Northgate Shopping Centre, 1 Piper Street, Tamworth.
