A Whyalla man is ready to kickstart some home renovations after scoring a $50,000 Keno prize.

The South Australian held a Keno Spot 8 winning entry in Keno draw 250317 545 on Monday 17 March 2025 and pocketed the $50,000 prize.

“That was great!” the man exclaimed.

“I’ve had a win before, but it was a long time ago.

“I watched the draw as I was having a coffee.

“I had a feeling this win was going to come sooner or later, so that was good to see it happen!

“I don’t have special numbers. I change my Keno numbers all the time. I’ll stick with some for a while and then change them and go on like that. It’s just a fun thing I like to do.

“The prize will come in very handy. We’ve got some home renovation plans, so that money will help pay for that.”

The winning entry was purchased at George Avenue Deli, 77 George Avenue, Whyalla Norrie.
