Playing the Powerball game is easy! To buy your entry, simply choose your favourite seven numbers and a Powerball number.

There are nine prize divisions in the Powerball game. You can win a prize with as little as two winning numbers plus the Powerball number in a single game. To win the division one jackpot, your entry needs to match all seven winning numbers plus the Powerball number in a single game.
The Powerball game could give you the freedom to play by your own rules.
Powerball draws close at 7:30pm (AEST) every Thursday night.
We're often asked, 'What happens when you win?'. We encourage all players to register their entry, that way we can contact any registered division one winners straight after the draw to confirm that life-changing news and begin the prize claim process.
When we reach out to confirm the win, our teams must follow a strict process to confirm we are speaking to the rightful ticket holder. If you are a registered player, we will have all the details you’ve used when joining The Lott Members Club, as well as the type of ticket you bought, how many games, and where you purchased it from.
Once we’ve confirmed we are speaking to the rightful ticket holder, we break the big news!
If you bought a physical ticket in-store and it wasn’t linked to a player card and you think you've won the big one, get in touch by calling us on 131 868. You will need to fill out a prize claim form which can either be mailed to you, printed from our website, or picked up in person from an outlet.
Once the form is filled out, it must be mailed back to us – along with the winning ticket – or dropped off in-person at a prize administration office.
Along with a novelty cheque, we send each of our division one winners a booklet that details things they may like to consider, like speaking to a financial advisor and sharing the news with loved ones.
The odds of winning Division 1 is 1 in 134,490,400. It's important to note that the Powerball game is a game of chance where all numbers are drawn randomly. Each number has an equal chance of being drawn.
